We are a community of faith, pilgrim people on a spiritual journey to what God would have us be. We are pledged to prayer, study, worship, and service. We are a communion of sojourners, seeking to live by faith, to do justice, and to strive for wholeness in a broken world. The foundation of our life in faith is the Bible, which we take seriously but not literally. We find wisdom from Scripture and tradition to guide  us in confronting life's deepest questions and uncertainties. We are a sacramental community gathered around the table of the Lord, where all are welcome; communion is at the heart of what we do and who we are. We are a community of faith where the sorrowing find comfort, the needy find help, the despairing find hope, the seeker finds a fellow traveler, the lonely find a home, the fearful find calm, and the stranger finds welcome.
Baptism Baptism is a sign of God's covenant promise to us, proclaiming our adoption by grace, and our word to God promising our response of faith and love. Although infant baptism is our common practice, persons of any age may be baptised. Weddings Weddings are performed at the discretion of the pastor, who, in addition to providing pre-marital counselling, will discuss and plan the service with the couple in accordance with church policies and guidelines. Funerals and Memorial Services Funerals and Memorial services may be planned with the pastor. Additionally, our church has a Memorial Garden in which the ashes of loved ones may be interred. Please contact the church office with questions about any of these life events.
